“I have very good insurance” “you don’t take insurance, ok bye”....
Is this you?
This is something we hear at times when people find out we don't take insurance or want to rely on their insurance for their Physical Therapy needs.
There is a lot of red tape when it comes down to insurance:
Have you met your Deductible? (that continues to rise every year)
They only cover a certain amount of visits (not what you need to get better)?
Is your care being shared by 4 other people? (Which limits the quality of care).
And on top of that, are they truly covering the cost for Physical therapy?
Many people are under a though fallacy that their insurance should cover everything, but in reality the insurance’s job is to deny and not pay for much of your care. They dictate your care, when in reality they don’t really know what you need, because they are not medical providers!
Then you go and say “I tried Physical Therapy and it didn’t work”.
Maybe, it was the care that you received that didn't work due to all the hoops your providers have to jump through?
This form above is a way that insurance protects themselves from covering the costs that may be needed to get you better. You end up with an “estimate” of costs. They end up not covering your care, 6. months later you get a bill, and you are in a bad mood affecting those around you because you are still in pain.
If you or someone you know are in pain and still on the fence about Physical Therapy due to the cost or previous bad experience give us a call. First 30 min on us! If we can’t help then you lose nothing in coming in to get a clearer picture of what is going on.
